Meet
Dr. Sara Hunter

Hi, I’m Sara!

I received my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Simmons College and began my career as an orthopedic physical therapist, building a strong foundation in movement, strength, and functional rehabilitation. With a background in dance and fitness instruction, I love finding creative, accessible ways to help people connect with and feel confident in their bodies.

My passion for pelvic health grew while working with pregnant and postpartum patients in both the clinic and the gym. Seeing how the right support and guidance could help people feel stronger and more confident inspired me to continue my education in pelvic floor physical therapy and focus my practice on pregnancy and postpartum care.

My own experiences with pregnancy and birth have also shaped the way I practice. I understand how exciting, challenging, and deeply personal this season can be, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and comfortable asking questions.

I created Birth Well Physical Therapy to make personalized pelvic health care more accessible by bringing physical therapy directly to you. My goal is to help you understand your body, build strength and confidence, and feel supported through every stage of your perinatal journey.
